PRIVATE SPACES

We have space, peace, and room to breathe. We are located in the heart of Jesmond Dene Park. Our private dining spaces are spacious and modern and we have a variety of menus - whether it's for breakfast meetings, bridal shower afternoon teas, or tasting menu with wine pairing dinners.
We are minutes from the city centre with free parking on site.

THE GREAT HALL

Larger parties can use the Great Hall, a spectacular, double-height room with oak and silk wall panelling, Gothic windows, carved inglenook fireplace and minstrels' gallery. With a separate, stone arched entrance - away from hotel and restaurant guests - and dedicated lounge bar, up to 110 people can sit down to dinner or around 130 gather for receptions.

THE JOHN DOBSON ROOM

The John Dobson room, named after the famed architect responsible for Central Station here in Newcastle and the commissioner of our grand house here, can seat up to 30 people. The room has it's own private terrace with private views over Jesmond Dene Park.

THE NORMAN SHAW ROOM

The Norman Shaw Room can seat up to 20 guests. Located on the main floor, this bright space has gorgeous views over our very own garden.

THE FRANK RICH ROOM

The Frank Rich Room, named after the famed architect responsible for the Hancock Museum in Newcastle and the design of our Apartment Suite, overlooks the trees of the Dene. A more intimate room, seating up to 12 people, perfect for small business meetings and events.

THE SECRET GARDEN

Our newest addition, the Secret Garden. Take in the views of leafy Jesmond Dene with the sounds of the tranquil waterfall in the background.
This space, which also includes a fully stocked bar, can hold up to 100 people.
