Comfortable and uncluttered, our 40 bedrooms are designed to help you relax whether you’re in Newcastle for a relaxing break or for business. Colours are rich, furnishings are sleek, and there’s often a surprise – a window seat, a leafy view, a private terrace. Splashes of silk and velvet add a dash of luxury. Most beds are king-size or super-king-size; the latter convert to twin beds. We have family rooms, too.

Bathrooms are crisp and stylish with plenty of space, plus underfloor heating.

Choose from comfortable classic rooms, generous superiors and deluxes, or more spacious suites. There are two romantic, under-the-eaves, extra-large suites, too.

Our bedrooms are split across three floors in the main house; two floors of which are accessible via a lift, our third floor bedrooms are within the eves and have stairs access. The West Wing bedrooms are located above The Great Hall and are accessible via stairs. The New House is home to some Deluxe bedrooms and our Junior Suites, with rooms on the Ground floor and first floor which is accessed by stairs.

Make the most of your stay and experience dining at Jesmond Dene House. Fern is an upmarket neighbourhood Dining Room and Bar, the emphasis is on creating fine, flavoursome food where there’s both respect and passion for the ingredients.  The cooking is skilful, generous, and heartfelt with dishes inspired by the rhythm of the seasons.
Our A la Carte Menu is available Wednesday – Saturdays 6pm – 9.30pm.

Our House Menu is available for residents in the Garden Room Sunday from 6pm Mondays and Tuesdays from 12.30pm – 9pm.
