The entrance to Jesmond Dene House is situated at the top of Matthew Bank.
Please note you cannot get to us via Jesmond Dene Road from the coast road.

By car from the south and west
Follow the A1 by-pass round the west of the city centre to the second exit for Gosforth, marked Wideopen, Killingworth, Gosforth (B1318) taking the B1318 through Gosforth towards the city centre, Once on the Town Moor, take the first exit at the first roundabout, marked Jesmond and Ashington A189. After a pedestrian crossing and two sets of traffic lights, take the first turning right (marked by 20ms speed signs) as the main road bends sharp left. Jesmond Dene House is 150 metres on the left.
By car from the north
Leave the A1 at the exit marked City (North) and Gosforth B1318, following the B1318 through Gosforth towards the city centre. Then follow the instructions above.
By car from the Coast Road
Please note, Jesmond Dene House cannot be accessed from Jesmond Dene Road heading North from the A1058 Coast Road.
By train
From Newcastle Central Station, a taxi takes around 5 minutes. Or you can take the Metro underground to Ilford Road station from where the hotel is a 15-minute walk.
By air
Newcastle International Airport is six miles to the north-west, on the outskirts of the city. A taxi takes around 15 minutes or you can take the Metro underground to Ilford Road station from where the hotel is a 15-minute walk.
