From 19th July

Although Government guidelines have changed and restrictions have lifted, we wanted to reassure that our priority is the health and safety of our staff members and guests. We will be keeping some measures in place to make sure your stay is as comfortable and as safe as possible here at Jesmond Dene House.

Social Distancing and Safety

  • Whilst face coverings are no longer a legal requirement, our staff members will continue to wear them throughout the hotel and although this is not mandatory, we politely request that our guests do the same whilst walking through public areas.
    This does not include the restaurant or lounges whilst seated or dining. As well as wanting to make sure you feel as safe as possible whilst visiting us, we must also protect our staff members who continue to work extremely hard.
  • Any staff that are medically exempt from wearing masks will be wearing a badge.
  • We are lucky that our gorgeous building is spacious and airy, with plenty of room to spread out. Although it is no longer mandatory to keep 1+ meter apart, please be courteous and keep your distance when moving around the hotel, our staff will continue to do so, and we will continue to operate the same table plan in our restaurant and lounges, making you feel at home.
  • Hand sanitiser is available in various public areas around the hotel and will remain in place for you to use.
  • Public areas and touchpoints throughout the hotel are cleaned regularly by housekeeping our house keeping team.

 

Upon Arrival & During Your Stay

  • Concierge service is unavailable, we ask that all guests handle your own luggage where possible, the reception staff will assist you where needed.
  • Should you wish to dine in the comfort of your room during your stay, all of our menus are available to dine from, please ask for these at reception.
  • Turndown service will commence, please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything else you need to make your stay more comfortable.
  • As always, if you require any new towels or toiletries, please contact reception who will arrange this for you.

Dining

  • We are serving food and beverages in Fern Dining Room & Bar, The Billiard Room and Terrace.
  • We are now accepting bookings and tables sizes of 6+ and there is no limit to the number of households in one group.
  • Advanced bookings are required in the restaurant where possible to avoid any disappointment due to popular demand.
  • We can not accept bookings in our private dining rooms and have four rooms hosting from 10 – 100 guests.
  • The restaurant team will continue to wear masks when serving you, unless medically exempt.
