Keeping You Safe

We have put some new measures in place to make your stay as comfortable and as safe as possible here at Jesmond Dene House.

Social Distancing and Safety
– Please be aware it is now mandatory for all guests and staff, unless medically exempt to wear face coverings in public areas. This does not include the restaurant or lounges whilst seated and dining.
– Any staff that are medically exempt from wearing masks will be wearing a badge.
– Please keep at least one meter away from guests as per government guidelines.
– Hand sanitiser is available in various public areas around the hotel.
– Public areas and touchpoints throughout the hotel are cleaned regularly by housekeeping.

Upon Arrival

– Concierge service is unavailable, we ask that all guests handle your own luggage.
– All guests will be asked to complete a ‘Health Declaration’ form on arrival, each member of the party over the age of 16 must fill this in. This is inclusive of all residents and diners.
– Please scan in using the ‘NHS Track and Trace’ app.
– If you are a resident and wish to have breakfast, upon check-in we will arrange a breakfast reservation for you.

During Your Stay

– Should you wish to dine in the comfort of your room during your stay, all of our menus are available to dine from.
– Room service trays will be left outside your room at the time agreed.
– Once you have entered your room, House Keeping will not enter your room until you have checked out. There will be no turndown service.
– If you require any new towels or toiletries, please contact reception who will leave them outside your room.

Dining

– We are serving food and beverages in Fern Dining Room & Bar, The Billiard Room and Terrace.
– Advanced bookings are required in the restaurant.
– Our menus will be disposable until all restrictions are lifted.
– Our tables will be spaced as per government guidelines.
– The restaurant team will wear masks when serving you, unless medically exempt.

Departure
– Please drop your key in the bowl provided at reception.
– After settling your bill your invoice will be emailed to you.
