To all guests, loyal supporters, friends and family,
The Directors are committed to re-opening the business and returning to the levels of excellence and service our guests have come to expect and to enjoy. We understand how difficult life has been for everyone throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and we remain aware that many of our guests and staff will have family and friends directly impacted by this dreadful virus. Without question, your welfare remains our greatest priority. It is clear that the hospitality sector will be required to make significant changes to the way in which we operate in order to ensure our guests and staff are able to visit and work in an environment that is safe for everyone. Those changes are, at this time, still unclear while the virus continues to claim so many lives, and lockdown rules are being very slowly released but we monitor the situation very closely.
We are also committed to understanding the enhanced health and cleanliness procedures that it will be necessary to implement as we follow Public Health England and UK Hospitality guidelines in slowly returning the business to operational mode. Our current position remains that it would be misleading and irresponsible to accept bookings for either accommodation or functions until we fully understand those measures we will be required to train for, and to implement, to comply with Government guidelines as they are released.
We will issue updates to this message as soon as the Government indicates how we will be allowed to operate safely as restrictions are lifted.
Until we can welcome you all back, please stay safe.
